About Minegar Environmental Services

Peter Minegar started Minegar Contracting in 1977 building concrete tilt-ups for three decades. Seeing the construction industry start to change with new EPA laws and other regulations, Minegar Contracting has tried to stay a step ahead of the game. When the SWPPP first was introduced, Minegar used many different methods to stay compliant. Between the high cost of digging your own washout pit or paying a trash hauler to line a low-boy with visqueen, a new solution was needed.

The Minegar team has been involved in Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), compliance since 1995. During this time we have always been on the cutting edge. Our new Concrete Washout Box (CWB), including the concrete breaking system (Patent Pending), is the result of 5 years of research and testing. Our system is simple, safe, convenient, and cost-effective for our customers.

Minegar Environmental Systems is committed to producing the best CWB in the industry. We have redesigned our box six (6) different times to guarantee the best box possible. Besides exceeding all SWPPP and EPA regulations, the box is safe and recognizable to concrete truck drivers making it easy to find.

Minegar Environmental System

Our Concrete Washout Box

1. Self contained and water tight
2. Exceeds EPA and SWPPP guidelines
3. Holds over 5 cubic yards of concrete solids
4. Four concrete trucks can discharge into our CWB at one time
5. Solids are released from the CWB without high maintenance plastic liners
6. The solids are broken up for recycling as the CWB is emptied (patent pending)
7. Portable and can be removed 5 hours after use

Our Water System

1. We have been recycling concrete washout water since 1999
2. Our vacuum trucks remove all water from the CWB
3. We recycle and process the water
4. All our water processing and recycling operations are approved by the local municipality
5. All water discharging is permitted as required prior to our pick up

Concrete Pump Washout (MES Pan)

1. We provide our self contained and durable MES Pan
2. Re-usable, recyclable and environmentally friendly.
3. You can pick it up and move with any fork lift
4. Pan capacity is 1 CY of concrete, easily contains the pump hopper's discharge
5. Deposit the pump waste into the CWB with a reach lift (Gradall, Skytrack) and it is ready to use again
