Peter Minegar started Minegar Contracting in 1977 with a specialty in tilt-up buildings and concrete construction. After three decades, he realized the industry was transforming with new building specifications and other regulations. Peter quickly saw the opportunity to remain in the forefront of the pack.
In 1994, Minegar purchased its first Somero Laser Screed. Little did anyone know it would be the new way of business. Now, twenty years, a billion square feet, and two dozen laser screeds later, Minegar continues to prove their place as front runners in the concrete leveling industry. With the addition of two Somero SXP-D Laser Screeds in fall of 2013, Minegar continues to grow and pursue greater building opportunities in southern California, Nevada, and Arizona.
